New Vice-Chairman for the Allendale Centre

At the Community Council meeting following the Annual General Meeting of the Wimborne & District Community Association, the meeting was informed that Mrs. Pam Furnell wished to step down as vice-chairman, although she would be happy to remain on the Management Committee.
The meeting accepted her wish and thanked her for all the dedicated years of voluntary service and for all the hard work she had given to the Association and the Centre.
A nomination was received that Mr. John Slow be appointed to the position and was duly elected as Vice-Chairman.
Therefore for 2010 the Officers of the Association are:
Chairman: Mrs. Shirley Webb
Vice-Chairman: Mr. John Slow
Treasurer: Mr. Norman Collier
General Secretary: Mrs. Elaine Trim

Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting of the Wimborne & District Community Association will take place on Monday 5th July 2010 in the Waterside Suite at 7.30pm.
The meeting will receive the Association’s/Centre’s Annual Accounts and Report.
Members of the public are welcome to attend but only paid up members and representatives for affiliated Organisations are entitled to vote.

We will be having a meeting on Wednesday evening to go through some of the website requirements and details. We have had a considerable interest in the website from our centre’s users who are keen to have their activities and details included on the website.
Additional pages are being added to the site and will be going live when entries are finalised and approved.
