ALLENDALE COMMUNITY CENTRE
Wimborne Minster, Dorset
The Allendale Community Centre was opened on the 31st January 1975 and is situated close to the centre of Wimborne next door to Allendale House alongside the river Allen and is easily accessible from Bournemouth or Poole. The Centre is the ideal venue for one-off or regular events or functions, with a number of different sized rooms available for hire, for amongst other things, conferences, exhibitions, fashion shows, book fairs, antiques and craft fairs, music and arts events, civic events, corporate hospitality, exercise classes, dances, workshops, seminars, parties and wedding receptions. The facilities are available for hire on morning, afternoon or evening sessions.
Car parking is available in the “Allenview Road” public Car park next to the Centre (charges apply but is free after 6.00pm).
The Centre is fully accessible and equipped for those with disabilities, parking for the disabled is also available in the Centre’s private Car Park.
The Wimborne & District Community Association

The Centre is managed on behalf of East Dorset District Council by the Wimborne & District Community Association, which elects a Community Council at the Annual General Meeting each year, who in turn elect the Management Committee. The Community Association is a registered charity (No. 277027).

The Millennium Tapestry
The Centre is proud to be the home of the Millennium Tapestry which you can see in the Waterside Restaurant.
